The barrels feature an intricate diamond pattern, inspired by the diamond patterning used in many parts of Bentley cars

 but especially noticeable on the grille. A perfectly smooth clear lacquer coats this guilloche patterning, protecting it and making it smooth to the touch. The finial at the top of the cap has the Bentley 'B' logo, surrounded by a small section of diamond-pattern knurling.
